As part of our ongoing dialogue with investors, Selected Group hosted two quarterly events in April and May, focusing on market updates, portfolio insights, and networking opportunities. Both events brought together engaged investors who showed great interest in the development of the funds and the professional content presented.
The first event took place in the beautiful rooftop venues in central Copenhagen, overlooking the King’s Garden and Rosenborg Castle. The evening featured professional presentations, including an update from Selected Group’s CEO, Frederik Gundorph Olesen, who provided insights into the status of the funds and discussed alternative investments as a stabilising factor in an uncertain market.
Ingrid Schuster, CEO of RegEnergy Frövi AB, followed with a presentation on the current status and future plans for the greenhouse project in Frövi. The evening’s guest speaker, Jens-Otto Paludan, shared inspiring experiences from his career in the music and art industries, including his tenure as CEO of Universal Music and his role as the initiator of the art project ARTvonTRIER.
The event concluded with tapas and networking in an atmospheric setting.
A week later, the second event was held at Padborg Park in Southern Jutland – a location defined by motorsport and mechanics, where the Park’s newly built VIP lounge set the stage for the evening.
Once again, Frederik Gundorph Olesen opened with an update on the funds and reflected on how diversified, alternative investments can provide portfolio stability. Ingrid Schuster followed with another thorough update on the RegEnergy project, which sparked a high level of interest and numerous questions from the audience.
Jens Kristoffersen from Padborg Park delivered an engaging presentation about his passion for motorsport and the story behind the facility. The highlight of the evening, however, was undoubtedly the opportunity to experience a high-speed ride in a Super GT race car with a professional driver – an experience that was met with great enthusiasm from the participants.
The evening in Padborg also concluded with light tapas and excellent networking opportunities.
