The Swedish business media Dagens industri has today published a longer article about the Selected RegEnergy fund’s first project in Frövi, Sweden, where waste heat from the Swedish paper and cardboard producer Billerud is used to heat greenhouses for local food production.
The article focuses on the first phase of the Frövi project, which is expected to be fully operational during the spring, and where a total of 8,000 tons of tomatoes are expected to be produced in the first production year.
The article features interviews with several of the participating Swedish parties in the project, including the project developer WA3RM and the financing partner Vinga Corporate Finance.
