The Swedish supermarket chain ICA, one of the largest in Sweden, will sell the tomatoes produced by recycling waste heat in the Selected RegEnergy fund’s greenhouses in Frövi, Sweden.
ICA tells the Swedish retail media Friköpenskap that the supermarket chain wants to strengthen the Swedish food supply, which the purchase of the initial 8,000 tons of local tomatoes from Frövi will contribute to.
